"Owners were great house as advertised, had a great week"

"Over several years of renting in the Valatie area, this house was the nicest place we’ve stayed. It’s well appointed and has a really nice view of the lake. The owner is very responsive to any issue that arises. Hope to return!"

"Perfect location nestled into the woods. Very nice house with all the modern conveniences. Owner was easy to communicate with. Great place to stay especially if you have plans at or near the institute"

"It was even nicer than it looked in the photos. The beds were very comfortable and location regarding short distance from ski mountains and Ellicottville was great. It was so sweet too that they had snacks and a bottle of wine out as a welcome gift when we arrived. Loved this place. "

"This was by far our favorite VRBO stay ever! The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore everything in the area. The house was beautifully maintained, exceptionally comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Waking up to the stunning views every day was truly a highlight of our trip. The experience exceeded all of our expectations. We especially appreciated the thoughtful travel recommendations from the host—they were incredibly helpful and helped us...

I think that there is something for everyone when you stay here no matter how young or old you are. We will be staying here when we come back. Thank you so much."

"Great house and great host! Very convenient location particularly to Windham Mountain. "

Make no mistake, it is definitely in the woods so you get everything that goes along with it. Bugs, wildlife, and peace and quiet. The beach is a small walk through the woods down a dirt road and off the beaten path. You have to cut through the woods to get to Ripleys Public Beach but when we went a tree had fallen down on the stairs and the were inaccessible. Barcelona Harbor...
