"We really enjoyed staying at Arran Lodge. Every single thing has been meticulously & tastefully done. We felt like we were staying at a four star hotel with the loveliest owners ever! Ashtray is provided for the balcony’s if needed! A beautiful clean room with fridge, fresh milk & bottled water daily, coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, cakes! There’s a hairdryer & iron too. "Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this beautiful hotel. We had a superior room with a terrace with views of the sea, a fantastic evening meal, steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in any aspect of our stay. Will definitely return. "

" Very friendly welcome, nothing too much trouble. Very comfortable and immaculate room, excellent walk-in shower. Full English breakfast the best!. Well located for seafront and town centre. Access to reception is via steps so perhaps not ideal for those with walking difficulties Otherwise highly recommended! "

"So where do I start!! Me and my partner stayed here for her 30th birthday for the weekend. As soon as we arrived at the property we were greeted by John and Julie a lovely couple who run the hotel. They immediately ask if we wanted a drink, as was given a lovely tea and slice of homemade lemon cake which was perfect after our long drive. They then kindly upgraded our room due to the occasion which was very generous of them. Through out our stay everything was more than perfect the morning...

"Ericka, the proprietor, could not have made our stay more pleasurable. This property is beautiful as is, but the care and concern she showed us (we booked two separate rooms) was amazing. The cooked breakfast was excellent as well. This is a place that makes walking in to town easy or you could just sit in one of the outdoor spaces and admire the garden."

"Beautiful B&B on a hill, but walkable to the bay and wharf and many dining options. The Bay Area is a little tacky with pin ball, casinos bars etc, but we had a very nice dinner at a spot called “Local” and it was walking distance to our lodging."

"We enjoyed a 4 night stay here for a sailing competition. Easy walk to the Yacht club. Very friendly hotel owner and family, decent sized room. Breakfast was also excellent with great and prompt service. Highly recommended."

"Property was lovely and spacious,clean and everything you need. Disadvantage was the parking. I have mobility issues so was unable to park far away. Unloaded my car and then parked. Room 11 a little noisey as next to the garden room stairs and lower ground but you cant help noisey people. A soft closer on the door would help. Overall though a lovely place and i would stay again. Thank you 😊 "

"Fabulous adults only property with stunning spa facilities. Excellent food, reasonable bar prices and friendly staff. We did ask to move rooms and (loud dripping from drainpipes just outside the room which was very annoying given the pouring rain) this was accommodated immediately. Nice to park in the hotel grounds, but £15 per day is a little excessive, although appreciate it is secure and monitored. Heated towel rail in the bathroom is way too small to accommodate bath towels and spa towel,...

"It was excellent apart from the evening meal and cooked option at breakfast. My wife had the fish and chips, the batter was soggy. The cooked breakfast items were not up to our expectations, poor quality."
