"Dower House hotel is a wonderful retreat Just a short distance from Lyme Regis, the hotel in general and our room in particular were decorated to a very high standard The hotel was spotlessly clean and breakfast was superb The hotel sits in a lovely garden with a pool and great views across the rolling hillside Neil and Rosemarie were fantastic hosts and we look forward to staying with them again soon"

"Quiet, spaceous room which was very clean. The pub served delicious food and there is a fabulous little cafe next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when visiting family again. Exceptional value for money with a good breakfast included. Only slight niggle is that the pillows were thin and not supportive. One is not enough and two is too much. Perhaps they could invest in firmer support pillows and the score for this hidden gem would be 10/10."

Una casa preparada para 6, aunque eramos 4, y no habia mas que 5 vasos ( y todos de distinto tamaño), un juego de cubiertos, faltaba una paella de tamaño grande...lo de sólo poder estar una hora en la piscina tambien mejorable."

"Nice hotel and the room was nice. Wi-Fi did not work in room but did in main hotel. Was nicely positioned a short walk to beachfront. Only downside was not a lot of choice for evening meal. Mainly fish. My husband does not eat fish or meat on the bone. Therefore we ate out after first night. Could have done with more normal choices. Not partridges or game birds. "
