"We spent a very relaxing w/e at Southernhay House. The rooms are luxurious, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. "Lacked charisma whilst it is a lovely building the rooms and corridors looked tired and could do with a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was nice but no personal touches. £10 each to use the pool was a bit poor as a resident I have never paid this surcharge in any other hotel so we didn’t bother. We booked this hotel as it was close to princesshay shopping which was about 3 mins walk perfect. £15 to park there for 24 hours seemed reasonable. "

"A bright, spacious and well equipped apartment. Very convenient for the centre of the city, with an easily accessible garage. The company was responsive and efficient. The only minor criticism would be that the bedrooms would benefit from curtains or much thicker blinds, as we were woken up at sunrise on both mornings of our stay."
