Fantastic hotel - big spacious room with comfortable beds. We had a warm welcome by the staff, who also helped with the luggage. Nice little surprise in the room. Breakfast was lovely and plenty. Thank you very much - We will decently come back😀

Lovely small boutique hotel near the quayside with friendly staff and nicely decorated. Very busy with a coffee shop and restaurant on lower ground. Being one of the oldest buildings in the town it has low ceilings, steep stair cases, beams and wonky floors! The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and our bed and pillows were very comfortable. Free WiFi, bottled water, tv, tea & coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and USB plug points besides the bed are included. A couple of rooms are on the first floor and the others on the second/third floor. Breakfast is served between 8-11am and was excellent, as was the coffee! Unfortunately we can’t review the dinner as we had other plans but it looked great. Parking is an issue within the town and we were aware of this before arriving. After October, parking is slightly better and we managed to park for three days in a free car park, a five minute walk away. Being an old building, the windows are not double glazed, therefore especially the front bedrooms are draughty and you hear the traffic and people. The hotel is at the end of lower street/ Bayards cove with a pub next door so not much through traffic but you do hear the deliveries reversing first thing in the morning. We enjoyed our stay here and visiting the surrounding areas -via the ferries and steam train. Dartmouth was delightful! Well recommended!

Really enjoyed our two night stay. The room was really comfortable with thoughtful extra touches like complimentary bottled water, a big selection of hit drinks and bottled milk and oat milk in the fridge. Staff were fantastic, really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extremely good. A relative who lives in the town said it was their favourite place to go for breakfast and I can see why. I highly recommend a stay here .

We had the most amazing time at Bayard’s Cove Inn. We stayed in the Nelson Suite, which was full of character, with a sea view on one side and beautiful Dartmouth on the other. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and that warmth continued throughout our stay. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had, and the staff truly couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed staying at Bayards Cove during our honey moon week- the staff were fantastic and the hotel was beautiful and located right next to the sea and next to the main high street.
