"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. "Booked this hotel for an event in Manchester. Great location in a quiet part and stunning surroundings. The Belmore is a beautiful building. Arrived with a smooth check in. Directed to our room. "We stayed for 2 nights as it was close to Alton Towers. Hotel itself was quite dated and the bedside tables were ancient and well used but the hotel was really clean and the staff and service was fantastic, I would definitely stay here again x"

"We stayed 2 nights in a 2nd floor room over looking the courtyard. The staff were all very welcoming & friendly. The breakfast had a good variety, nice and hot & cooked well which is not always the case for buffet style breakfasts. The location is good for the Peak District. Plenty of parking & although due to weather we were not able to enjoy it, the outside area was very pretty. The bathroom could benefit from a little work. Overall Good Location, welcome staff, excellent breakfast."

"Adequate hotel stay. I booked the hotel room for 2 people yet there was only 1 bottle of water and only 1 breakfast teabag. This may sound trivial to you but this room was not cheap £161.00 per night and there wasn’t enough water and teabags for the both of us! When we booked out at 4AM and mentioned this to the lady on reception her response was, in a very cocky attitude… you just have to ring through and we will provide more! Really!!
