"Elaine over provided a wonderful breakfast and was helpful with giving us info on the area. When a canal ride was oversold she personally drove there to attain tickets. Property was beautiful and presents pastoral England as we pictured it. I highly recommend this property"

"We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Our large room had a comfy 4 poster bed, table, chairs in the bay window. Bathroom had large fluffy towels, lots of hot water. The views from both windows overlooked the well manicured grounds with benches, fabulous flowers in baskets and trees Breakfast was tasty with vegetarian options. The Eggs royale was excellent. Inn was clean, tastefully decorated with friendly efficient staff. "

"Lovely stay but made amazing by the Chefs. If you have the opportunity to visit be sure to have one of their specialty burgers - Salt & Pepper Chicken Burger or the Lamb Feta Burger. Both amazing and on my top 10 of best evers. "

"Good overnight stay, shame an external door was left unbolted and was banging in the wind all night. Reception un manned when I arrived so had to hunt for someone to check me in. Good food, and bar service excellent"

"The room was fine. Money has obviously been spent on updating the hotel, maybe a bit more needs to be spent to improve things. For example, the bathroom had been upgraded, new bath, hand basin, shower; but the tiling and grouting had not been finished. Also the bath was very slippery so maybe provide a bath mat. Also, we were only provided with two bath towels, no hand towels or bath mat. As we only stayed one night, it wasn’t a problem but for longer stays, the additional towels would have been...
