"The Old Vine is a wonderful property. It blends historic charm with the best of modern comfort. The breakfast is served generously and quite delicious. We must mention Mitchell who does it all and made our stay even more special. Thanks! Last but not least, the location could not be better—directly across from the cathedral, and a stone’s throw from the charming old town. Hope to return soon. "

"Parking charge of £10 is unnecessary and should be included with room booking. Fire alarm went off 3 times as a false alarm which meant going up and down the stairs with luggage and kids as lift stopped working. The room with 2 double beds was spacious and clean The staff are great though. Particularly the lady that was on reception evening of 6 June kind and helpful. "the room was very clean and spacious, lovely rain shower. check in was easy in the restaurant below and the staff were really helpful. there is a separate door for guests in the rooms so you can let yourself in at any time of day/night. a small outdoor space. car park very close by and reasonably priced. no charge on Sunday. very convenient for walking into town. would definitely stat again if i return to Winchester, which is a fabulous historic town"

"We had a very comfortable nights stay here. Easy, precise instructions for gaining access to the property, and a very comfortable room. Host was very easy to speak to and the breakfast tray was amazing! Good pub just up the road too! "

"Easy check in and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The room had pretty much anything you could wish for in it. Very well equipped room, lovely linen and a super comfy bed with different firmness of pillows. Nespresso machine, mini fridge, DAB radio, large TV, Dyson fan, Iron, Hairdrier, all great! Checkout was easy the next day. Just a shame we couldn’t have stayed for longer and made better use of everything. Many thanks! "

"Due to traffic issues we arrived at 4 pm and the pub was closed and all doors were locked until 6pm, we had to visit a nearby pub (The Bat And Ball) for a meal until Ye Olde George Inn opened up for us to check in, apart from that we enjoyed our stay "
