My experience at the Nickelodeon resort was the worst I ever had in my entire life!!! Starting with the room, can’t get a normal shower for a week, the water temperature in the shower was changing from hot to cold by itself. My wife waited for a hairdryer for literally 3 days, the balcony door was very hard to open and close,me and my kids had to push to get it moved, the water pipe for the bathtub was leaking and we didn’t have any water for a bit one of the days. Now onto the beach you have to pay if you want to have shade, the free sun beds are only 20-25 and if you’re not the first one in morning, forget about it! Some of the days there was not even payable ones available, forget about the pool, forget about the beach!!!! OMG, so about the restaurants, we didn’t see as many restaurants as they advertised! And let me tell you guys it’s very very hard to get a reservation. Food was horrible!!! You have to login at their website at 9am every day to try scheduling a reservation and they are already booked, because they have priority for people with blue breclets!!!!We managed to get a reservation for the space restaurant on New Year’s Eve after a fight with them I’m not eating in buffet again,thanks to the help of a nice lady who make reservations for new year. And I’m sorry to say this but i never had such a bad steak in my life, if u can call that a steak! My son’s chicken fingers look like frogs and were served cold, yup cold! Hotel de fácil acesso, estrutura física boa, Quarto antiguo e com cheiro de mofo e tivemos que solicitar a troca. boas opcoes de alimentação. O lado negativo é a recepção, informei com antecedencia sobre estarmos celebrando o aniversario da minha filha e eles não so não tinha informaçao e como não fizeram nada a respeito. No check out quiseram nos cobrar um café da manha com personajes que nunca estivemos e mesmo informando o recepcionista ela insistiu que fossemos validar con a concierge.Muito ruim

Room ( bath didn’t have cold water, just hot). We upgraded our room to get a bathtub because we have a one year old). The shocking part was how they dealt with it once we reported the issue to the front desk. They said to fill the tub with hot water and wait for it to cool down. Next day they said everybody was having that issue which turned out to be a lie because we checked. Very very disappointing. They lied and disrespected us. Avoid this place.

Property is dated and rooms are not well maintained. The shower head was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen and mold lined the bottom of the shower. Long hairs in the bathtub upon checkin at our room. Artwork in room is falling apart. Our air conditioner stopped working right before bed and we slept all night with no AC. Pool is open until 7pm and they do not provide any towels after 5pm. Water park has no towel service at all - and the nearest towel service is almost a mile away at the main pool by the beach. Water park music and “entertainment” was so loud it was unbearable and the decible level was not safe for kids. When the waterpark closed, the crowd had to wait for extended periods for transport because the staff did not prepare for its closing by having sufficient shuttles available. We requested a taxi for 11am on our departure date. The front desk called our room 4 times between midnight and 1am telling us our taxi had arrived, waking up our family over and over even though we kept reminding them our taxi had been requested for 11am. Between the constant phone calls and no AC, it was an absolutely miserable night stay. The food was decent, some of it good - and certainly the best part of the stay. The fresh fish at the buffet was very nice. The drinks, however, were terrible, especially the pina coladas. The soft serve was also very poor quality (the kids wouldn’t even eat it). Overall, this is a below average resort. It needs significant upgrades and improvements.

Loved the swim up rooms, staff was very helpful but the cost of things at the resort are insane! I paid $70 for a stuffed sponge bob! Breakfast with characters was ridiculously expensive! Renting a dirty beach bed at the water park was super pricy! The drinks were watered down and the shittest alcohol possibly but the beer was good. Staff was friendly but the “shows” were cartoons on a big screen most nights. The one show we did see with characters dancing was way too late for little ones. The restaurants were good but the space one is very tired and dirty. Italian was the best, we never tried the Japanese cause it was closed most nights. Great ice-cream coffee bar Bartenders will serve with a smile as long as you are tipping. Drink selection was not good.

Staff were not pleasant at all. There are some exceptions, but in general, it seemed like everything was a chore for them, no smiles no extra effort for help… very disappointing. You pay 5 star hotel pricing but this is at best 4 star resort, you can see that they are not up-keeping the hotel. Kids had fun, the water park is cool, beach is nice but the whole experience is average at best. Also, there is really not much for kids after dinner. Will not be coming back here.

The food/buffet situation here is unacceptable. I had to complain several times and nothing was fixed. 45 minutes line for a buffet dinner. When you get in it's hard to get even diet soda to drink because waiter service only for drinks. On New Year's Eve had to wait on a long line to manually book a dinner. No one let you know, you had to figure it on your own. If you didn't book it then you were out of luck for dinner that night. Specialty restaurants were booked only through their app and close out immediately at 9 am. Also very little night time activities for kids made it quite boring and hard to keep my daughter entertained. No seats at the pool or beach unless you pay extra. So what made the trip salvageable: ice cream/coffee at the sweet shop and the workers there were nice. Water slides and water park were clean and well run. Properly made margaritas at the bars. Security was very present and we felt safe. Overall, you could do better for what you pay, and I'd not recommend.

i was there for my son's 5th birthday and was really disappointed with the overall experience especially because of how expensive it is. I am Dominican and was so disappointed in the way my family and i were treated. We werent given the service that other families were given, for example, i asked for apple juice for my kids and went to go get them food from the buffet which took me 10 mins. When i came back my husband told me they still hadn't received the drinks and the family next to us not only got their drinks but also got refills and had arrived after us. It was like that all 3 days we were there except for one young lady who was very kind and all money we were going to tip the others we gave to her but we met her on our last day there. If they think youre going tip good then the treat you nice. I guess they judge us off of appearance. Also the room could've been cleaned way better. You can tell they don't wipe down the sink area with all the scum and grime. When we got there the checkout took approximately 20mins and my kids were tired and hungry. By the time check in was completed the buffet was closed. We were told to go to another food area they have so we went. The "chimi" they served there was a regular dry Hamburger not even cheese was added. i was so disappointed with the food. the buffet food was ok but the best food and service we received was from Verdello(itialian restaurant) their server Marcos was incredible. The hotel room was a great set up, we had a suit flat for a family of 5 and it worked out nicely. Staff were all friendly as well and resort was clean. However there was lots of negatives, only buffet for breakfast or you pay for the special breakfast… 3 options for lunch buffet, fresco and aqua bites (both fresco and aqua bites never had a full menu listed online which was very disappointing) coffee shop also never had a juices listed… this was a theme even dinners didn’t always offer what was on the menu. Waterpark is definitely geared to families under 12, your not allowed to use the water slides if they think your older than 12 even though the weight limit is 200lbs listed. You need to make reservations daily at 9am for that same night and they do not take you even 5mins early they just tell you to come back… and when they are running late staff is unapologetic. Was okay stay, but very pricey definitely wouldn’t recommend if you have a child over 10/12ish

Terrible customer service . Elevator didn’t work and hasn’t for months . Very hard with three kids and a stroller … plugs didn’t work in bathroom . Lamps didn’t work in rooms . Bathtub leaked water all over the washroom floor . Fridge didn’t work so they sent us another that didn’t work . They moved us to another room because of all of these issues and the Air conditioner didn’t work so we were overheating the whole time .. the staff that work here are extremely rude . I have been to 49 countries and many resorts and this is NOT a 5 star and needs a lot of work .
