"Would not recommend this hotel. There was no WiFi which was apparently an issue for days and they did not let guests know. The WiFi was also the only source of tv connection so you were not able to watch tv. Woke up to shower and discovered there was no soap in the bathroom and one tiny towel- went down to ask for soap and extra towels and was told there was nothing that could be done until 9 or 10 am when housekeeping starts. "The room was clean and comfortable. The only disadvantage is that it lacked a fridge. Once in a while we heard sirens in the area. The hotel is closed to a train / subway station, two stations away from Times Square."

"First, let me say this trip was sort of planned… I decided to come to New York during Tartan Week (and it did not disappoint!). I went with Pod Times Square because it was close to a lot of the events I was planning to attend as well as traveling back home. "Breakfast was not up to par with other hotels. No meats No eggs. No juices. Coffee selection not there. Also a property with this quality should have refrigerator and microwave. Must haves in todays hotel experience at least have available at Breakfast area."

"Overall it was a great stay. I paid for city view and the view was very underwhelming for the 19th floor. My air conditioning was also not working. I had called to see if it could get fixed. I was told someone would come up to take a look at it and no one ever did. I had to open up the windows in order to get any form of air since the room was so hot. Very disappointed with how they handled that."

"The room and hotel were excellent. The only issue that I had was that in the shower there was a silicone lip that is supposed to hold the water back from going all over the floor. It wasn’t secured or siliconed properly. There was also some mold on and under it. "

"Air conditioning was good, bed and bathroom seems pretty clean. Is seems a little outdated/old and had wallpaper peeling in a few spots. The hot water did not work even after I ran it for 10min waiting for it to warm up. "
