"This is a 15th Century building with the stable block converted into accommodation. The room we occupied was very large with all the usual amenities, pristine clean with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast menu was comprehensive as was the dinner menu. My only suggestion is that a help yourself coffee and tea facility would enhance its facilities.Excellent hotel at the price."

I booked a family room for five of us (3 kids) - which in itself is unusual to be able to fit 5 in one room! - when we were visiting Paulton Park. "One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever visited. The gardens are stunning and the surrounding woodland feels truly magical, with horses and deer nearby. The heated pool is a lovely touch, though the hours are limited. Breakfast was excellent—fresh and filling. I’d recommend booking lunch and dinner in advance as it gets busy. Reception staff were warm and welcoming; overall service was good, though a little more polish would make it exceptional."
