New Forest Inn steeps in atmosphere, 18th century beautiful country pub in the heart of the New Forest, even the ponies were there outside to welcome us.

"Like the fact that you can walk a few yards from the property and you're in the forest. Good location for walking the dog. The whole of the New Forest inn is dog friendly and staff are very welcoming towards them.Very helpful staff ! "

"Had a great stay in a beautiful room. Was made so welcome with coffee and cake on arrival and my name of a parking space. Breakfast was excellent. I will definitely use the hotel next time I'm in the New Forest. My only complaint - I wasn't there long enough."

"Room is imaginatively and elegantly furnished and decorated but in keeping with being a country inn. The rooms are all arranged around their own courtyard with a lovely tree the middle, and so they are quiet and separate from the pub even though right next to it."

"We arrived in a heatwave and were given a room I didn’t feel comfortable in. The receptionist worked hard and found us a much bigger room with more windows to open. She also suppled us with an extra large fan which kept us cool at night. All the staff were extremely, friendly and efficient. "

"We booked the room thinking we had access to the spa as all photos showed it, but when we got there we didn’t have access to most spa areas, which were a premium service on top of the room cost (over £250/night). The room was spacious but it’s old fashioned and didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. Disappointing."

Met by the owner who was very friendly and helpful and shown to our room which was very pleasant and clean. A Dyson fan on the room was much appreciated on a very hot day. Comfortable bed, great shower and nice breakfast. No negatives. Would highly recommend."
