"The house was amazing. Very warm, convenient location to relax in the city. I would recommend. As other reviewers said, there is a motion detector light going off many times at night and you can hear a bit the cars in the night passing, but that was not a problem for us at all. Would definitely rebook."

"This was a phenomenal hotel! The location is close to the subway, but the soundproofing is excellent. There are two major supermarkets one block away, convenience stores across the street, huge Starbucks, food court with excellent meals (Bivi). Within the hotel, you have every convenience you could want, even a shared microwave and public bath on the first floor. The elevators are fast, the rooms are exceptionally clean (I mean luxury hotel standards.) There’s a huge cafe next to the lobby....

"今回の京都旅行で1番印象的なのが、長屋造りの宿舎です。チェックインの際のスタッフの方も親切で、事前に到着時間を伝えていて大通りまで出て出迎えて下さいました。また、効率的な付近の観光情報を教えていただきました。荷物も事前に配送させていただきましたので受け取り対応もして下さいました。長屋造りになっていて、お隣りが近いせいか隣の海外旅行者が玄関チャイムを押して私たちに台所の使い方を聞いてくる貴重な体験もありました。部屋が広くて古い造りで子どもたちは、大喜びでした。自転車で近所を回ることを楽しみにしていましたが、3日間雨で自転車に乗れず残念でした。"

"The check in was easy and the reception staff was helpful and accommodating they even provided a shuttle for us and our luggage to the hotel as it is in a different location. They will even hold your luggage if check in is not ready. Hotel room was nice and clean and a bus stop was right outside. Highly recommend!!! "

"Such an unforgettable Japanese experience in the heart of Kyoto! The traditional house is well kept and equipped, offers us a very comfortable place for living. The place is centrally located, close to JR and metro stations. Close by there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, all very local. Communication with the ower was easy and responsive. Highly recommended and I will stay here again next time!"
