"My room was in the coach house, just outside tje doors of the main building. It was very clean with just baked biscuits and Tregothnan tea. A gorgeous view of the garden was welcoming on arrival."

Food was excelent both in the evening and breakfast. We think it must be a wonderful place to work as all the staff from reception to cleaners were all very happy, chatty and helpful. "Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"

"Parking right outside, easy check in, was shown to room. Newly renovated rooms are clean and decor is great. Comfortable beds and bedding. Fresh milk in fridge. Bar area was warm and welcoming, even on a busy December weekend with very well priced drinks. Would 100% stay here again. "

"Only complaint would be pillows, for me, flat firm pillows dont work. Staff is the best! They were always Super helpful. Location is good...close to the Barbican, aquarium, and waterfront. Room was very clean, well appointed and had great black-out drapes."
