"Tried to deduct a ‘service charge’ from my deposit as I was checking out. Only when I queried it (twice) was I informed that the charge was, in fact, discretionary. Not sure if this is normal in London now but I felt it was disappointing."

"Small apt., which was perfect for me. Everything was clean. There was a floor fan which was badly needed, given the summer heat. And the tube stations were close by. All perfect."
