"Our truck broke down and we ended up staying here for three days. The staff were absolutely lovely. The hotel is on the process of switching from an EconoLodge. New carpet, walls painted. The jacuzzi is still being repaired but the pool was a consistent 87 degrees. I enjoyed my breakfast each morning. I would totally stay here again. Also, the property is very close to the train, prison museum and great restaurants… loved Nirvana. DiRitos and the Owl."

"The key making machine did not work. There oven was broken. The breakfast was very limited, and what was there was not complete (waffles, but no syrup). No eggs or other usual breakfast items. It seemed that the place was understaffed, as there was no one to see to restocking breakfast items. "

"Desert Reef is a a quaint relaxing stay, soaking is very nice with shallow pools. We stayed in an Airstream our whole experience was phenomenal."
