"We stayed here 6 years ago and had an amazing stay so we were hoping it was still as good and it was, I actually thought the reception staff were much nicer this time. Rooms are just fabulous and super clean, pool area is so lovely and they do the best dirty martinis :) Honestly this place is one of my favourites !"

"We had a wonderful stay here, even with the construction the hotel is doing. Our room was comfortable and clean, with welcoming free beverages, snacks, coffee and tea. Beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. We were within easy walking distance to the train station, shops, and pubs."

"From the photos of the rooms I had seen, I was prepared for a rather boring, average room, so I was very pleasantly surprised when the room turned out to be very stylish and charming. The fabrics were of lovely and of good quality and there were antiques as well as modern touches. The bathroom was spacious and had really nice granite and large porcelain tile. "Lovely peaceful stay with no fuss"

"This McDonald Hotel needs a definite updating. Much of it is outdated and tired looking. The staff and service were excellent and you can’t beat the location. The breakfast buffet was good, but could benefit by rotating items and providing more fresh fruit such as berries. The restaurant is only rated average for dinner with a very traditional and boring menu. The rear exit stair/lift is convenient for getting to Windsor Central train station and it surrounding restaurants and shops, but...

"Poor food and expensive bar snacks on arrival. Were supposed to have 2 complementary drinks which was written onto keycard which we didn’t get. The policy is room wouldn’t be cleaned unless requested. We requested this after 1st night. Fresh towels were supplied but room wasn’t cleaned, bed made or bins emptied. We didn’t have any toilet roll left on second morning b4 checking out. Very disappointing."

"Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break."

"Loved this gem of a hotel. We had a large party of 10 and the staff couldn’t not do enough for us. We loved this spot, close to everything, very walkable. Nice little bar on site with an outdoor courtyard, full restaurant as well. Breakfast was amazing. When our pre-booked airport shuttle service fell through they had us looked after in no time and we. We’re picked up and delivered to the airport in plenty of time! Will stay here again, and I’m a travel consultant, so I won’t hesitate to send...
