"The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The food menu in the bar had something for everyone and the servings were generous and reasonably priced. Our server in the bar was amazing. The location was ideal for meeting our needs... a visit to Windsor and easy access to Heathrow. On site parking and a luggage scale in the lobby were much appreciated."

"Nice location and property. But I specifically booked a room with air conditioning on Expedia. It was spelled out on the room type. I arrived in 35+ C temp and voila no AC - not poorly functioning. Nonexistent. Got no sleep. Windows could only open 3 inches due to installed stops. Staff blamed Expedia. It was extra pleasant lugging bags up narrow stairs in the heat also."

"Wonderful quirky 500 year old pub at Eton, literally a stones throw from Windsor Castle and environs, so an easy walk to everything. Great to have parking and the breakfast included was lovely. Very friendly staff behind the bar. Special feeling staying in a historic pub with its own character. Don't worry about the planes going overhead as they have a curfew in the evenings!!"

"The property was perfect. Location was perfect too, right in the centre of the town. The rooms where large and there was a fridge in the room. Lovely bathroom. Couldn't fault anything within the hotel. There was only one problem and that was with the parking, there is a car park at the hotel but it was 40 pounds for our 1 night stay which I thought was expensive. I have a disabled badge so it would of been so handy to of used the car park, but instead I had to find a car park as few minutes walk...

"The best thing about the stay were how friendly & helpful the staff were. The best staff I have ever met in a hotel. Everyone was so accommodating from reception, waiting staff & cleaners. The hotel owner is very lucky to have staff like this & they are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was really good also. One piece of feedback but not important, maybe consider investing in a coffee machine as I missed my cappuccino!"

"horrible property, checkin instructions were not provided even after checkin time.....despite informing about the 24 hours travel..not even 30 minutes before checkin request was accepted..despite standing at the door step...this is dodgy place.he will ask all your details but will not provide his name even. host refused to refund the money despite many followups....disgusting experience."

"Booking was cancelled by the hotel and was only notified whilst travelling there (6 hours after booking) as booked same day. Got to the hotel to be told to check the Expedia site for other hotels as was told they could not do anything. Staff were extremely unhelpful"
