Only item to note is the central heating system was broken the weekend that I stayed. The hotel helpfully supplied a portable heater, which helped in the evening. "

"Location is perfect, close to lots of things to do and see. The staff are all very nice and friendly, can't folt them at all. The room we stayed in could do with a bit of an upgrade in the bathroom and a freshen up but it was still a nice enough stay. Food was beautiful, dining room was very clean and nicely presented. "Room for the first night, the heating was not working and a draft coming into the room from the window. Got moved into a different room for the remainder of the stay but the heating still didn’t work. That along with the lift not working from the first floor causing us to carry luggage up each day. Staff were great, but the overall experience of the stay left a lot to be desired. "

"Reception staff initially a little frosty as we arrived ahead of check in time because we were going to an event. However once we explained that we didn’t expect our room to be ready and that we just wanted to leave our bags they were much friendlier and then went out of their way to find a room that had already been cleaned so that we could go straight to the room "
