The Old Mill Iwood Manor
Westward on A370 out of Congresbury past site of station, 1987. The road, going towards Weston-super Mare, used to cross the ex-Great Western branch line from Yatton (to right) to Wells and Witham (to left). The station and line were closed to passengers 9/9/63, to goods 1/10/64; also a branch ran to Blagdon from Congresbury until 14/9/31 (passengers, goods 1/11/50).

Only slight issue it was a bit chilly in the room though not too bad and we were only there a night so didn’t mention. Otherwise all good. Great central location opposite park (handy for dog walking). You made our dog very welcome. You have lovely staff who seemed genuinely interested in guests. ...

The Lakeside walk in the Newton Park campus of Bath Spa University is my favourite place to go between lectures. The natural beauty of this campus is one of the reasons I chose to apply to this university. I still find it crazy how quickly I can feel immersed in the great outdoors, whilst still being close to the university buildings. Filled with swans, ducks, herons and a 15th century tower across the lake, there is plenty to sit back and appreciate. #Trovember Photo Contest
