"Parking outside the pub was full but there is a small village car park on the opposite side of the road to use. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the room well presented woth a great choice of teas, coffees and biscuits available in the room. There are a few walks that can be done straight from the pub. I was doubtful about staying at a pub but this place was excellent."

"The parking is very easy, you just enter you car registration on a screen in reception. The guy at reception was very proficient and friendly. The room was small, basic but very clean and comfortable. There are shops around with 2 minutes, so like Waitrose, Lidl (actually underneath the hotel), Home Bargains and even a Weatherspoons! The property itself is quite large, which may contribute to some of the upkeep challenges. However, throughout the property the carpets appeared worn and in poor condition, and the upholstery in the restaurant was also noticeably tired and in need of refurbishment. "I originally wanted to book from the 14th to the 18th but the system wouldn’t allow me to do that so I ended up booking one night and then after a couple of false starts I managed to book the other 3 nights. The first night I had a room with a shower which was very nice (lovely in fact). However the wi fi was terrible downstairs but works a lot better upstairs as I had to change rooms because of not being able to book all 4 nights at the same time. Really good otherwise."
