"Very nice place to stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff without exception. Food in general was good, and Sunday lunch was exceptional. Room was comfortable although decor was a little tired. Well situated in Cheddar.
Only caveat - the room was at the front and the traffic noise from the road was extremely loud. Earplugs were provided but I struggle to sleep with those things.
But I would go back so overall a positive relaxing weekend."

"The room was very clean, large, and comfortable. The people working there could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We dealt with three different gentlemen at the front desk and the lovely ladies that served our delicious breakfast and they all went out of their way to help us and make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Bath."

"Spotlessly clean, fabulous hosts and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Reading past reviews I was shocked at mentions of the floors being cold. It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm. It is cosy and warm at this time of year (and I imagine lovely and cool in the summer).I would definitely stay again for its location, its cleanliness and its hosts. Can't fault it except for the mattress, which is a bit "argos" and could do with a good...
