"Property needs renovation and repairs however it was fine to stay for the weekend if you don’t plan to be in your room often. No temperature self regulation, it just gets turned on and off automatically. The 1915 restaurant is on the expensive side and the diner closes early. The main property, restaurants, etc are a drive from the stone cottages. Plan for extra travel time if in the stone cottages, there is only a one way exit and requires travel out of the way to turn around and get back to...

"Amazing hospitality and wonderful staff that welcomed me and my family into the hotel after a wedding. They were so sweet and personable. I had a wonderful experience here. "Our stay was for three nights, Friday to Monday. Check in on Friday was a bit disorganized and their excuse was that they had two weddings in the hotel and were sold out. I had booked this hotel 3 weeks prior to our arrival date. The room we were given was room 104 which supposedly was newly renovated and the front desk told us was an upgrade. The first night we there it was very cold (in the 30's) much to our dismay we had no heat in the room all night. We froze. I went to the front desk...

"First thing, the property was nothing like it was depicted on line. It was further from Manhattan than I anticipated. Although the lobby area had apparently been upgraded, other areas needed to be addressed. The dining area seats were stained, the walls in my room had obvious signs of wall damage and were improperly repaired. There were 3 small square patches of matching wall paper to apparently conceal holes from a removed picture as well as a 3 foot square of replacement wallpaper covering...

Parking is a little confusing at first. When you get there you have to pull in front of the garage door next to the front door and then go in to pay for parking.
