"It was ok. Location was good for transportation on buses or taxis. The room we got was definitely not a “luxury” hotel room or spacious like advertised and did not look like photos. There was no lift, so they should tell people they have to do stairs. The towel warmer didn’t work and there was no plug in for the hairdryer in the bathroom or anywhere near a mirror. It had a bed and breakfast without the breakfast kind of feel, rather than a “boutique hotel,” so seems a little higher priced...

"Unbeatable location for a first time Edinburgh tourist. Close to everything we did for 3 days.
Attentive & helpful desk staff. Lovely dining room & lounge. We had one glitch which the front desk handled perfectly. We took advantage of the pool & sauna. Rooms were contemporary but seemed a bit “tired”.
I applaud they are doing an elevator upgrade. Whilst inconvenient for us being down 50% elevator capacity, it will be appreciated by future guests."

"Lee- Anne, Anjuli and Nisha made the entire four day stay truly memorable. They offered incredible service and were extremely kind and helpful. We loved the location, just out of the way of Old Town but close enough to all the sights by bus (right outside the hotel). We especially enjoyed the dinner menu as it catered perfectly to vegetarians with a great selection of vegan meals as well. Our room had a lovely view and we had a wonderful experience."

"Booking was easy, however, the writing was on the wall from early on during our stay. The cups in the room were ring stained, like they were washed out, not washed up. When we asked for a clean cup; rather than changing the dirty cup for a clean one, staff made a point of inspecting the cup and saying it was rinsed but maybe not scrubbed. Yeah, hence why it's dirty, because it's not been cleaned.
Our first night was terrible. We were woken at about 0300 by other guests. The next 1.5 hours were...
