"Très bel appartement, très vaste, avec tout ce que l’on a besoin pour se faire à manger. Literie et oreiller confortable. À distance raisonnable du centre (25 minutes de marche) ou d’un arrêt de bus (5 minutes) Environnement calme, très bien insonorisé. Un peu dispendieux, mais ça semble être le cas pour tous les hébergements en Ecosse. Tesco Superstore à proximité qui est très apprécié et très utile. Je recommande fortement cet hébergement"

"Really friendly and efficient team who communicated regularly before and throughout our stay. Apartment spotless with everything you need. Tiny niggles - would benefit from additional lighting outside the entrance to the building . Sockets not near the mirrors so not ideal for those who use a hairdryer and straighteners. Bedside lamps weren’t charged but plenty other lightening so not an issue. These really are tiny niggles and we would definitely stay again on our next visit to Edinburgh....

"There is no parking for this place. The parking that they list on their email is only for permit holders. This greatly reduced my rating. The apartment itself could use a good deep clean. Tons of dust, the couch was covered in stains, the blanket on the couch was very smelly and dirty. The location is okay, far walks and bus rides to everything. "

"Perfect location and noise bearable (with ear plugs) as on main road. Apartment was well kitted out and no real issues. A tiny (and cheap) thing but may needed for shower as very slippy and none provided so had to use a towel, not ideal. Only thing that is likely to prevent is staying again is quality of mattress - too soft and so not terribly comfortable sleep. If replaced for better quality one then would certainly do so."

"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"Good location. Easy walk to dining and transportation. They could leave instructions on how to use washer/dryer but otherwise everything was fine. It is a basement unit and the last night the people above us made a lot noise but that’s not anything the owner can control. Nice size using and close to dining and shopping. It does not have AC - not a complaint but just for information. It would have been nice to have had a fan."

"Upon walking through the gate, trash was plied very high. When we got to the room the smell of cigarette smoke smacks you in the face. I immediately notified them via email with no answer. The couch was very warn out with pieces of the pleather flacking off and the chair had a hole in it and was very old and not comfortable. The bed was decent, however the pillows are very very flat. Oh and the blue door in the pictures, not your blue door. Also, there was pee in one of the walkways as well "
