"The hotel is located inside the pub. I was one of the attic rooms and didn’t hear any noise from the pub. The Sunday roast is well worth it. I had the roast beef and it was delicious. My room was a twin bedroom. It was fine but there was no floor length mirror. The mirror on the dressing table you could manoeuvre but you couldn’t see your full outfit. "Fabulous property in a quiet rural location. Wonderful welcome by Eve. Room big, recently refurbished, lovely bed, spotlessly clean. Milk, water, orange juice in fridge and homemade cookies (with full moon logo) Amazing breakfast, beautifully cooked and presented (all local produce and delicious) Highly recommend this gem of a place. "

"Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular! Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow. Bed very comfy! Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though. Staff super lovely."

"ABSOLUTELY LOVED our trip to this BEAUTIFUL little medieval village and TOP NOTCH HOTEL. Full of history, loved slow pace of the town, relaxed. Everything about the hotel was well-preserved and restored (retaining history)."

"Lovely property. We had a double room, which was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking. The only gripe (tiny) the curtains wouldn't stay closed. I used a hair clip to keep the morning light out."

"You need a shop to sell the toiletries available for guests as well as local beers and ciders and cakes and biscuits. And perhaps links to local artists; prints make good souvenirs. "

"Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bath. Loved the room (named "Jake") with its compact space and the layout between the room and the bathroom. You just can't get places that have character like this in the States. Ate dinner both nights in the restaurant which was very good. On both nights (weeknights) the restaurant was full. The venison pie was outstanding. Opting for something more healthy my wife and I chose the porridge with local honey the first morning and repeated the same...
