"This is a lovely property on the edge of the Broads. It was very clean and comfortable, and well equipped, and the host was very helpful. There is easy access to Norwich and the coast, and some lovely walks into the Broads from the doorstep. There isn't a shop in the village, but Acle is less than 10 minutes drive and has a small supermarket, pubs and takeaways. The big supermarkets in Great Yarmouth are only 15 minutes away."

"The hosts were very helpful. I've never stayed anywhere with a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream and a disposable razor in the bathroom. The location was a 10 minute walk out of town, but there was a chippy nearby. Rather than eat my takeaway in my room I was invited to use the dining area and supplied with cutlery. The breakfast was good as well."

"Had a 3 night stay here early September 2021, the hosts were very helpful and friendly, the building in general and my room was in good condition and clean and the breakfast was cooked well and delicious. The room was a bit small but the beer cooler in it was a nice touch and kept my tins of beer cold for the time I was there. There is no dedicated car parking in the grounds of the Guest House but Parking Permits for each day are given to you to park on the streets surrounding the Guest House...

"I spent 3 nights and overall had an enjoyable stay. The room was a good size, very clean, and the bed very comfy. Only slight disappointment was that the advertised fridge was not in the room; I was expecting this to keep drinks cold and for packed lunches. Check in was done online and very easy. Whilst this was quick and efficient it meant the personal touch was lacking and I did not see anyone else during my stay. The Collingwood is right in the heart of Great Yarmouth, good location, staff very helpful, parking costs £3.00 for 24 hours, quite easy to fins a parking space near the Guest House, defiantly would stay at The Collingwood again."

The room was very modern with lots of gadgets which could be a little tricky but once you got the hang of it was all ok.
