"Lovely clean room, everything you could need. First night was lovely, second night, which I know the owners cannot do anything about, but 2 smokers booked in and because we were near the front door, we were disturbed every 30-45 mins with them going out for a cigarette and being outside talking at 6.30am Saturday morning. Apart from that would stay again"

"The room was described as a “comfort room “ we loved it! It was surprisingly spacious enough, beautiful decor and soft furnishings. The bedding and towels quality were exceptional. Hospitality tray and outlook were lovely. If I had to give a small negative, there was a slight odour in the bathroom, from probably the cloths/ mops used to clean, a bit “ sweaty socks” type of odour which lingered. On another practical preference negative, the restaurant is beautiful, ambient and amazing service...

"Such a lovely hotel , staff are great especially serving, I did like this that special touch , great that you can park just across from the hotel , not much of a walk into Whitby , rooms are spotless, maybe could do with a update but very comfortable thanks for welcoming us"

"Lovely little boutique hotel run by super friendly hosts. The rooms are quite something and the place is chock full of eccentric vintage finds, it has real character. We had a deep, luxurious bath in our room and the vintage glass bottle of bubble bath was a nice touch. We had the breakfast (veggie continental) one morning and it was delicious, lots of fresh little picky bits to eat and drink. It’s up on the cliffs with a lovely view of the abbey but still an easy walk into town. Just sad we...

"We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings"

"Situated 15 mins walk from Whitby, perfect for us away from noise but close enough to access quickly. Great breakfasts and staff excellent, friendly and helpful 😎👍"

"The shepherds hut was very run down ,dusty skirting boards ,faded bedding and rotting door and steps the shared toilet and shower were not very clean and there was peeling paint on the walls and ceilings. The food in the pub is very good ."
