"Very nice, modern, clean. You might be worried that the pods/nests are small but I found it quite comfortable to lie down in. They have a nice lounge where people go and sit with their laptops. Staff was very helpful."

Location is great - super close to shows in the West End (I even caught the West End Live free concert in Trafalgar square) and about 20-min walkable to big monuments like Big Ben and the British Museum. The reception area is pretty nice too: had a bar and you can order food for lunch and dinner for under 15 £. "The hotel was well maintained and very clean. The decor of lobby and outdoor space was bery nice. We had a very small room and the stairs to it were quite steep. We should have requested a ground level room, so if booking this hotel, ask for this immediately. This was in a great location near many restaurants and other amenities like grocery stores and the tube."

"100% self check in which is not so great when you have an issue with your reservation and there is nobody to help. Once on my room floor, there was a series of steps you have to lug your luggage up and down in order to get to my room. Not so fun when you're by yourself with a large luggage."

"The location was good as close to Paddington station . The rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lower floor room and we need to carry our luggage through the narrow stairs. Also if we want to have air conditioning, need to pay extra 10 pounds . The layout of the room was very crowded with 5 beds and no desk and chair to work. The water outflow of the shower very slow, so water got accumulated. Also we could hear the noise of the underground and train."

"Although our room was very small, it worked for us for the 8 nights of our stay. We are grateful to the staff who immediately took care of the few requests we made ( wash cloths, ice, and extra towels). Since the room was so small we would have benefitted from having 1-2 hooks to hang towels and a soap dish in the shower. We also let them know the shower clogged after 1-2 minutes in the shower."

"The location of the Apex Hotel cannot be beat! Close to the Tube (literally almost across the street), the Thames River, the Tower of London and more! The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to friends and family."
