"We were told by the lady at the front desk that we had a free dinner with our stay, but the restaurant in the hotel said we did not. However, we were charged for the stay with that amenity and it was never received. Therfore, we essentially paid for our dinner twice."

"It was beautiful area in Romsey community closed to all amenities, the palmerston rooms was well maintained and included healthy breakfast and the couple were amazing and beautiful well kept garden in the backyard. It was beautiful place to stay when you are in Southampton area. Reasonable price with amazing serviced. Highly recommended."

"Hotel staff and concierge were great. Breakfast was excellent for a buffet. The restaurant and pub seemed to have staffing problems and were not attentive. The facility is showing it's age, however. Still, it was convenient to the mall for shopping. A little to far to walk to the Horizon cruise terminal with any luggage, but the concierge hooked us up with a taxi."

"We had a terrible experience dealing with the manager of the property. Perhaps the worst manager we ever dealt with. He had problems logging into his system, but all he could tell us was "I cant help you". We had issues with check ins, the room smelled smoky and air ventilation system was broken. "Beautiful location on the Southampton waterfront and close to several museums, restaurants and shops. The hotel was very nice but the shower was not very hot and turned cold during a shower. The restaurant was nice but very expensive. Nearby restaurants were much better."
