Rural house located three kilometres from the village of Villanueva de la Concepción, Málaga, Andalucia.
It belonged to one of the first settlers of Villa del Torcal, who came here, attracted by the idea that the first inhabitants were offered land and their first-born son was exempt from military service.
This century-old house, located on the slopes of Torcal, dating back to the 19th century, has been renovated in 2024, trying to preserve and respect its original charm. In an 800m fenced area, you will be surprised when you enter to find spacious, bright exteriors ready for you to enjoy. You can sit on the porch while enjoying panoramic views, which reach from the Guadalhorce valley, through the Torcal, to the Axarquía mountains with the sea in the background.
On the ground floor you can still see its thick limestone walls, from Torcal, old windows and an original "threshing floor”, which has been restored stone by stone, used in the old days for farm work.
The house welcomes you in: a spacious kitchen-dining room, a cozy living room with a fireplace, and a charming bathroom. We go up the stairs and you will see a small reading room, with the sun's rays to warm you through the window. You have a choice of three themed bedrooms:
• Rustic, with two 1.05m beds and stonework decoration,
• Ibizan, to enjoy a splendid 1.50m bed and its charming Mediterranean decoration.
• Romantic, with subtle overtones, you can take your ease in a cozy romantic 1.5m
bed.
On this floor we also have a bathroom with double sinks, shower and a bathtub with views. Both inside and outside the house it was our intention to create a decor, both warm and intimate, and rustic and evocative of the rural landscape: its old restored furniture and natural light stand out, as protagonist.

In the outside areas of the property you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, accompanied by its characteristic colours, scents, croaking of frogs and chirping of birds, which you can see from the porch, garden or pool. In its sky you can also discover birds of prey, which nest and live in the Torcal.
