The kitchen staff were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel made it especially great due to the amenities nearby in the plaza and fuel station. "A lovey 300 year old cottage. Beautiful rooms. Spotlessly clean. A full English breakfast sets you up for the day. Paula and Simon are wonderful hosts, very welcoming. We felt like we were visiting friends. Well located for getting around the area, Eden project and popular beaches and harbours a short distance away. "

"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!"

"This is an amazing find. The decor and atmosphere really stunning. The staff attitude and manner fantastic. Facilities brilliant and food terrific. I can’t rate this highly enough. Two small thoughts. For bad weather coat hooks just inside bedrooms would be useful. For lone female travellers a secondary lock/chain/fastener on door would ease any concerns. I actually put a chair by the door probably overly anxious about nighttime’s but it’s a consideration. Thank you once again I will...

"When booked it says take blanket&pillow case?no need bedding is included.. Shared bathroom clean&tidy. After 10.30 gets really loud with jukebox,on a main road..if you a light sleeper this is no good.but i enjoyed my stay it was for one night..breakfast was excellent! Cereals toast and a full English was excellent for my journey I would definitely stay again if was down that end..very impressive. "

"An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"

"Despite the 1960s look from the front and the scaffolding this hotel is built into the side of the hill is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the views of Mawgan Porth were stunning even in the unpleasant weather that we had. Really enjoyed the spa too. Even the Yogi tea that was on offer. Would definitely stay there again"
