"Ben, was extremely understanding that due to the jet fuel situation in the UK, we had to cut our trip short and he was not able to move us to a different day. "I ended up booking this on a lark, and what great fortune it was! The location, the attention to details, the fluidity of welcoming attentive and informative staff to impeccable grounds, made it a memorable stay. They combine high end service w/ a feeling of being at home, I will most definitely be booking with them again. Highlights: Spa inclusion w/ room stay (sauna, steam bath all pools especially heated outdoor!) location: coastal pathway to St Charles. Nature walks, no cars to everything...

"Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help."

"The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend."

"Upon arrival we we greeted & shown to our room. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean, just what we wanted. After a good nights sleep we had breakfast in the bar and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had a choice of breakfast, we ordered a full English and avocado on toast with poached eggs & bacon. The food was cooked to perfection and was thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend the Victoria In. Location...

"Upon arrival the inside looked a little tired however the rooms were very big with privatre facilities and super king size bed. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful, Jenny is a wonderful host and nothing is a trouble."
