"Have travelled to Bali since 1989 and Sri Phala reminds me of what Bali was like when I first arrived, in every good way. The accomodation is old school Bali, spacious and quiet. I would recommend that villas at the rear of the property, away from the main room, but everywhere in the complex is lovely. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Would def stay at Sir Phala again. "

"Amazing stay at Sthala for 3 nights! Located a bit outside the noisy and busy ubud centre you get your own slice of jungle paradise in this hotel which has basically everything you could ask for - gym, spa, amazing rooftop bar and restaurant with huge breakfast buffet and beautiful views of sunset for the daily happy hour on the rooftop bar! All the staff we met went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone in ubud looking for good...

"A truly excellent boutique style hotel in the centre of Ubud whilst being calm and peaceful. Rooms are excellent, great shower also. Pool area great and for a small hotel the Gym was v well equipped. The restaurant was also excellent, a lot of variety. Yuda on reception was great, recommended some excellent tours and a perfect local Balinese restaurant. Go here if you can!"

"We had a poolside room and the room was sensational. The staff very helpful and friendly. The spa is amazing and very reasonably priced. Restaurant food is very good. The only concerns are: The buffet breakfast is limited. There is only a small selection but its decent. The walking distance to the main part of sanur is a little walk. Some along the highway They do not run a room tab. You must pay as you use the restaurant or any amenities."
