"Hotel Villa Ambrosina is quiet, off the beaten path with beautiful views. I absolutely loved the room. It had a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful for only 5 euros. I will caution everyone that it's a very hilly approach from the town, but we walked to a local store for supplies with no problems at all. I loved this stay. "

"What a beautiful hotel!! Spacious room, updated nice bathroom, and gorgeous views and property. Very friendly staff, too. Breakfast is awesome and they had plenty GF options too. They also have a shuttle to take you up and down the hill to the main part of town, which was very helpful and meant we didn’t have to pay for taxis hardly at all. Overall an amazing place! "

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. "Nice and renovated hotel in a quiet are of Florence "

"Nice comfortable clean smallish room. The breakfast was fine, affordable (12 euros) and convenient but the dining room when I get there was filled with dirty dishes, they were slow to bus tables. In their defense, I came to the breakfast room at 8 right after the morning rush. The lobby is a bit basic, but there was a place to sit and work or recharge your cell phone while you waited for your room to be ready. "The location was perfect. Its one the less busy side of the river but a very easy walkto the highlights of Florence. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety. The room we had was a good not a great.Smallish compared to others we've had on this trip and the shower was small. Lovely view of the river outside of our window."
