"Very quiet and comfortable beds. Nice breakfast.. I ordered a coffee as wanted a latte that wasnt included. It was no trouble and made at the bar.. delicious. The hotel is very clean with nice toiletries and tastefully decorated throughout. Staff were frieny and helpful"

"Our stay at Y Capel was wonderful! We loved the heritage associated with the building. Our room was large and clean. The bathroom seemed to have been recently updated and the shower was awesome. The common area was lovely with extra amenities. Check-in at the Erskine Arms (immediately across the road) was quick and easy. "A beautiful place, with stunning grounds and views. All the staff were delightfully friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was immaculate, and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The only drawback to staying in Rhianfa Lodge was the steepness of the slope up from the car park and of the steps down to the gardens and main hotel, especially in the rain - but then, we are not as agile as we once were! We liked the quirky music room, and the cosy bar with its array of Welsh beers and spirits....
