"We had a fabulous stay. Rebecka was a great host and helpful before and during our stay. The location of this property is a perfect base for exploring the city. It is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and bright and airy even though it is such an old building. The bed was comfy, the shower was great and the toiletries smelled amazing. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we return to Lucca. Everything was perfect "

"This hotel is actually not a hotel but a few rooms attached to the villa volpi hotel, a 10 minute steep walk up the hill. All meals and staff are found at villa volpi, there are no real facilities to speak of at suite accommodation. It's not as discribed in the information at all. In fact, we chose to upgrade for €70/night to stay at villa volpi. I would recommend villa volpi but not suite accommodation "

"Lovely rustic villa in the foothills of the Apuan Alps with stunning views over vinyards, the town and the sea. "We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."
