Welcome to Morada da Luz, a luxurious 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom home in Atenas at the heart of Costa Rica's Central Valley just 45 minutes from San Jose airport.

This spacious home in the beautiful gated community of Roca Verde has stunning views overlooking the quaint, historic town of Atenas.

The high altitude provides one of the best climates in the region in a very safe and friendly neighborhood. Enjoy indoor/outdoor living area, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms. Take a plunge in the pool and relax on the outdoor patios or take a short day trip to nearby volcanos, rainforests and beaches (less than an hour away!). Grocery stores and restaurants are close by in the friendly Costa Rican town of Atenas.


The space

• The whole property is yours - You have complete privacy with no shared spaces.

The house has lots of Space a. Washer and Dryer with laundry detergent. Lovely hammock by the pool and outdoor dining area

• Main House: Elegant and spacious with lots of natural light, fifteen foot ceilings and fully equipped kitchen. 1 bedroom with a King bed, 1 bedroom with a Queen bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, and a sofa bed in the living room. Sleep up to 7 sharing beds with three full bathrooms.

We are your hosts, John and Tricia, co-hosted by Marianna who lives in Atenas and speaks English, Spanish, German, Ukrainian and Russian. We are in love with this enchanting place, surrounded by nature, where we are greeted by a bright sunrise in the morning and awed by magnificent sunsets in the evening. Chattering parakeets and colorful toucans disappear into nearby trees. We hope you will enjoy your time here too.
