Holiday Inn Golden Gateway by IHG
We just completed our stay at the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline. The hotel is right at the start of the cable car route on California Avenue which made it a fun way to get around the city.

Handlery Union Square Hotel
The Handlery has maintained some of the original character of the hotel while updating for modern convenience. The staff are polite, helpful, and very accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the convenience and proximity to downtown and restaurants makes it very walkable inconvenient. ...

YOTEL San Francisco
Room was clean, but common areas were consistently messy. The common areas are a fun amenity for those looking to work a remote 9-5 from there, but if you plan on using them I’d prepare to clean up your own area (BYO cleaning wipes).
