I am beyond extremely disappointed with our check-in experience specifically, but with our overall stay as well. We had to go up and down eight flights of stairs multiple times when trying to access our room after an 8+ hour day of travel. Our keys were labeled incorrectly, giving us access to another room which is not the level of professionalism I would expect. I would not feel comfortable knowing a stranger had access to my room that both the hotel and I were unaware of.
After running up and down the steep, long stairs cases, trying to figure out the keys, deciding not to get dinner due to the stress of not being able to get into the pre-paid room because of absolutely no reception being offered, which was not made aware to me when I booked, I slept in disgusting sweaty clothes.
I was not made aware that housekeeping had extremely limited hours, and upon requesting new sheets, as mine are disgusting, it was denied. I was also planning on having my mini-bar replenished, but it appears that became unavailable when I didn't rearrange my trip to fit the hotels preferences despite being a paying customer. It seems that to receive the bare minimum that was promised, I would have to bend over backwards and jump through hoops to fit a schedule I had no way of knowing.
In addition to all of these things falling short, there were no slippers provided as promised online, but in their place were the contact lenses of the last person who stayed there on my nightstand. I am extre
