"I will try to be as fair as I can here with our review. The house is absolutely gorgeous sitting on a no wake zone of the beaver river. We had previously taken 3 trips to the marina without too much problems. The owners always seemed to have a little anxiety with us launching on their ramp. The first trip was a day trip that we gladly paid the $50 transient dock fee and was told that they let me "slide" by using their ramp. 2nd visit was an overnight trip that once again, we gladly paid the...

"This property was great. It was exactly as advertised. And there were free snacks and coffee. We enjoyed our stay very much. Just be aware that the keypad is actually on the front door where the keyhole would usually be. I spent about 15 minutes looking for a lockbox on the porch only to discover that I had only needed to open the door to find the keypad."

"My husband and I, plus our furbaby (dog) drove from TN to PA to see our 3 grandchildren who are young adults. One had just graduated from Slippery Rock Universty. The cottage was perfect!! We have stayed at several places and this was by far the best ever!! Very clean!! Beautiful decor, comfy, cozy and well stocked with too many items to mention!! I would highly recommend with 10 stars if I could!! Shout out to Jason, the host. Super helpful and friendly, but gave us our privacy. Awesome...

"Quaint accommodations and gracious host. Gwen’s Cottage at the Water’s Edge is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Located on above the stream and minutes from McConnells Mill and Moraine. Hiking, kayaking, and swimming filled our days. Nights, great restaurants are too just a short drive. The cottage is well appointed, immaculately clean, and provides the peaceful surroundings needed after a day’s activities. 5stars"
