"The Matauwhi Bay Manor was the most magnificent vacation holiday place we have ever stayed in.The ground was stunning with gardens, trees, and “bush” surrounding this large Manor House. The views in three directions where of the beautiful Matauwhi Bay with picturesque boats anchored all the way around. The interior of the manor felt like we were staying in Downton Abbey. Our hosts Bruce and Diana were just as friendly and as accommodating as could be. Our freshly cooked breakfasts were a delight...

"Haben 3 super tolle Tage dort verbracht!! Das Frühstück von Mutsuo war der Hammer!! Besser kann es kein Hotel servieren. Würde es jedem Empfehlen der wie wir in den Bay of Islands unterwegs ist! John hat uns auch noch eine Menge wertvoller Tips gegeben!! Kommen bestimmt wieder!!"

"ホステルの個室(ダブルルーム)に滞在しました。部屋はかなり狭く、バスルームは共用です。スタッフが常駐していないので、聞きたいことがあった時に不便でした。周りには1軒のレストランしかなく、自分で食材を持って行く方がいいでしょう。"

"A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail."

"The staff are super-friendly here. The location is amazing - the view awesome. You can walk easily to restaurants, shops or pop across to the beach. I loved sitting on the balcony watching people doing their thing. The room was well appointed, clean, neat, had everything you needed and more, plus a washing machine. We really loved staying here and would come back easily."
