"Brand new and very clean. European mattresses must just be not that comfortable, because these were supposedly new but still not very good. The showers spread water everywhere and make the bathroom slippery and unsafe. We were moved from our first room to another room with a slightly better shower enclosure, but still not great. Hosts are not on-site, which made things a little difficult. They are responsive to phone calls - but you need an international phone plan to call them and I had to...

"The property and our room were both wonderful! A great place to stay in Munich. The underground station is very close. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Unfortunately, the room was quite warm at night and we had to open the window. Our room was located at the front of the hotel, which is overlooking an area designated for smoking. We could smell cigarette smoke from guests smoking beneath our window all night long. I would recommend requesting a room on the back of the hotel for this reason....

"The only issue was with check in. The hotel did not have any of the numbers Expedia provided. They said the hotel was full but did let us stay? So confusing. I then got a message from Expedia asking about check in. I explained in my review that BOTH Expedia and the hotel were to blame. The hotel continued to say they were unable to locate the reservation. It was stressful"

"Would have been nice to have a safe and a small bar fridge in the room. My sister booked at the same time and had a much larger room for 200$ less and had a kitchen and sitting area.
Very good location to everything. Grocery stores very close by. Beer Garden restaurant close by.
Romanian Travern 12 minute walk with amazing food.
Bathroom was very nice and excellent water pressure.
Staff was helpful and kind.
Check in and out was very easy.
Never had the breakfast as there was so much...

"We were here for a short stay during Oktoberfest. Good location just a block from the Aidenbachstrasse metro station. Parking was available for a charge, but worth it if you’re not interested in taking a chance street parking.
Also, if you’re renting a car from another country, WunderLocke is outside of the environmental restriction zone."
