"Was put into a room, unlocked room to find it hadn’t been cleaned yet. So went back to reception and was given another room. Fan in bathroom was full of dust and cobwebs. Fridge made an annoying noise during the night. Shower had a leak. Bed was firm and pillows were uncomfortable. Didn’t feel cared about. Just a number paying for a room. I’ve stayed in a few nightcap hotels and this has to be the worst one so far. And we stayed 2 nights. I’ve stayed in numerous places and never once had the...

"The bathroom door did not close, the electric blanket was burnt out at the switch, the heating on 30 only took the chill off the room. The freezer completely frozen. One light in the bathroom was not working and the other making a shorting out sound. When I went to talk about this the office was closed at 10.00am on a Monday. Very disappointed. We have stayed here before and it was fantastic. Obviously new owners."

"The Novotel is very well situated. For a fairly new hotel I did find the room looked abit tired and the bathroom was not very clean, with hairs and grime.
There was also building maintenance outside our room as they are expanding the hotel. Definitely not great if you are planning a sleep in or want to go out on your balcony as you have a bunch of Trades all staring at you. This would have been good to know at the time of booking.
For the price and experience I would not stay here again."
