Oceanfront Lemon Cottage

The Lemon Cottage in Nassau / the Bahamas offers its guests a very special environment where taste and tradition come together in a magic look! Located at one the most ancient part of Nassau, directly at the Orange Hill Beach and in a private residence area!
Enjoy the Caribbean Beach and Ocean right in front of your door and get away from crowded areas!

The Lemon Cottage is a newly renovated one-bedroom apartment that is ideally located on the famous Orange Hill Beach, which offers stunning views of the Blue ocean, Swimming, and Snorkeling spots right in front of the Property, and a nearly white sand private beach. It’s only 15 minutes walk from several Restaurants and Bars (love Beach) - if needed, the Bus stops in front of the house and brings you within 20 Minutes to Downtown Nassau.
The Cottages is part of private property (like a small gated Community) and is still with a private entrance and no shared rooms!

The decoration of the house includes, has been made by intention in a Caribbean Yellow style and is very modern.
You will enter the Apartment through the yellow entrance door and find yourself in a fully equipped open Kitchen with a small dining area. Two steps down are the Bedroom with a closet and view to the Garden area of the Main house and the Ocean. The Bathroom has a walk-in shower and everything you will need.

There are many reasons why we invite you to come and enjoy an unforgettable holiday in our place. You mustn't miss this unique experience. The magic of the Bahamas is waiting for you.

Location is perfectly across from the beach

Great experience. Host was great at responding in a timely manner. Location was great, away from the busyness touristy areas. But still not far from groceries and restaurants. You can cross the island in a little over an hour. The only small complaints are..bed is not very comfortable, the host should offer more linens and towels, or at least laundry detergent for stays longer than a couple of days. And the cottage is an apartment right below a bigger house, which can get a bit loud when occupied.

Lemon Cottage

The thing that kept this from being 5 stars was there is a path/access to the pool & deck from the Lemon Cottage where the deck boards had rotted away leaving a dangerous entrance. Also other deck boards in this general were also unstable. After the first 2 days there the gate was locked and the deck could only be accessed by walking around the property, down the driveway. Instead of just a short walk to the deck & pool. What bothered me about this is that this damage didn't happen overnight, and obviously the hosts knew about the danger because they locked the gate. This situation prevented me from giving this vrbo a 5 star rating. That is a shame, because otherwise it's a nice place.

wonderful location: just off the beaten path

If you want to have beach sunsets all to yourself, book a cottage here! There are a few different sizes available. The management company was very responsive and helpful. And the bus is easy and friendly.
