Vittorio has lots of great suggestions listed on maps at the apartment to help. We took the ferry to Capri, which was lovely (watch out for the really expensive cafes and restaurants in the main Piazza at the top of the stairs…). "Stayed for one night so that we could see Pompeii. Very early to get the Metro and then carry on to Pompeii from the main train station. The host contacted us the evening before to check arrival time and even kindly allowed us to leave our big bag at the property whilst we went off to explore.
