"I think this could be the best hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are spacious, comfortable with amazing views and robes and slippers to use around the hotel are provided. The onsens are incredible - so peaceful, not crowded and well worth the stay. All of the facilities from start to finish are so clean. "Unmatched location, all rooms look over the stunning 1930’s garden and magnificent mountains and lake, no bad views! The hotel exudes old world charm, and while some may find this ‘dated’ we found it delightful. The Franco-Japanese -Deco blend carries through to cuisine and 2 fantastic restaurants (though not for the budget conscious). A truly unique and memorable stay. Would come back in a heart beat. "
