1. Patio Door handle missing, parts laying on kitchen countertop as if property owner had been made aware of problem, but it was not repaired before my arrival. 2. Main bedroom shower drain or flooring leaking into kitchen area cabinets, floor and stove. Had to use the second bedroom shower. By looking at the ceiling in the kitchen area it had been leaking at some point in time in the past.

Could have been better

Booking this vacation I had high hopes because of not having to travel far for food, entertainment, beach and the pool since you could travel by golf cart. Unfortunately it did not go as planned, the golf cart did not work correctly and to be honest was unsafe. It is stated that they check the golf carts to make sure they are running correctly before the arrival of each guest but if they would have done that they would have known this golf cart did not work correctly (and now going back and looking at whoever stayed before us review it was doing the same to them) whenever you turned to the left it completely shut off and wouldn’t go and left you embarrassed and in unsafe situations in a line of traffic, not to mention with young children on there as well. When we contacted the maintenance they eventually came and looked at it and basically said yes you’re right that’s what it’s doing but didn’t do anything to make it right. So we were stuck without a golf cart the entire trip, which was an inconvenience considering that was one of the reasons why I booked the villa. Would love to stay at one of these again but weary due to this experience.

Family vacation ‘22

We have been visiting Miramar Beach for about 20 years now, and have always stayed right on the beach. We wanted to try something different this year, and we are SO glad we did! The community and ease of getting around on the golf carts were a huge plus- especially to my children. The area is so quiet, and the view of the lake is beautiful. We loved the townhome. It is decorated very well- just as the pictures show. My only complaint is that the barstools in the kitchen did need some cleaning there was chocolate (I hope) caked on the chairs, and the couch cover is quite stained. We look forward to staying at Beachside again next year- we’re sold!

Very nicely updated!

Great setup for small families

Fishing right out the back door, golf cart had no issues and you can even make your way to Publix through the resort. Super clean, too. About as easy as a trip with little ones can get.

Expectations exceeded!

The property was even better than described! The location was fabulous - the shaded view from the cozy back patio was splendid. The golf cart was a fun and easy way to zip around the property, making beach trips, shopping & dining even more fun. Highly recommend! Will definitely return!

Perfect location, just needs some love

We are frequent visitors to SanDestin and this townhome was perfectly located, came with golf cart and beautifully decorated. Upon arrival, we were overcome by a chemical smell at entry. Shook it off to extra COVID cleaning and left to hop in the golf cart for dinner. It was dead. Upon return start

Location is perfect but cleanliness was not

From the moment I saw the pictures, I loved this townhome. We had a great check in process and was very excited when we got there. We soon realized we could not walk in the house without our shoes on due to the floors being so dirty. After 5 minutes of walking barefoot it looked like we had walked barefoot through dirt. The golf cart was a nice addition to have to get to the beach. The next day we discovered the guest room bathroom tub did not drain properly so we had to stand in 4 inches of water when we showered. Also, the ice maker did not work. Throughout our stay we started to notice more things that were dirty like cobwebs on almost all the light fixtures down stairs, stains on the curtains, the sofa and barstools and light bulbs being burnt out.

Wonderful Stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much and loved our accommodations. The golf cart was a hit! It allowed us to not have to leave the resort and fight busy Destin traffic. We got to everything we needed in the cart: grocery, beach, great restaurants, and shopping.

Villa Review

My experience renting this property was okay. Upon arrival, the villa appeared clean and very accommodating. However, I discovered several blemishes regarding property sanitation. There were large amounts of sand found on the floor of the Master along with pieces of hair in the bedding. I also found that appliances/ furnishings were dated. As it pertains to location, this place was ideal!!! Nonetheless, I wasn’t impressed with the amenities.

Great trip during COVID-19

We chose Sandestin because we wanted to be able to drive to our vacation location because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but we also wanted to be able to socially distance from other people. We found the perfect place for that! The resort is beautiful, the villa is beautiful, and the golf cart was a must to make the property as fun and enjoyable as possible. We cooked all but one of our meals in the villa and the kitchen appliances were great to use. I just brought all of my essential cooking equipment with me to make sure that I had everything that I needed. The location of the villa is great because it's about 2 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from Publix, shopping, etc. We played The Links course and The Raven. The Raven is really nice and manicured, but The Links has beautiful views of the bay. We were really happy with our choice of the villa at Sandestin and we would definitely stay there again!

Florida in the Winter

We enjoyed our winter stay...walking the beach and the resort, using the golf cart to get to shopping, restaurants, New Years Eve celebration all within the property was especially convenient. The condo was perfect for 2 couples, and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking our celebration meals.

Great property and great time, but...

The place was nice and the resort is awesome. The golf cart was a nice convenience for the resort. Close to beach and great golf. Didn’t like that you pay all that money to stay there for a week and they give you one garbage bag, one dishwashing pod, basically one of everything for the whole week. Reached out to the property management group twice with two different numbers provided to ask a question and they never responded.

Quaint and Cozy

This cute little villa was perfect for our getaway. We enjoyed sitting out back under the trees and looking over the lake. So relaxing. We loved having the golf cart. We never had to get back in our car. We will definitely be back!

This home in Sandestin Resort is absolutely beautiful! Everything you need to have a relaxing vacation is here waiting on you. Having a golf cart to get around the resort absolutely made our vacation. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful condo at Sandestin

This condo was fabulous! I would give it five stars except the kitchen was lacking some essentials (no cutting board, vegetable peeler, cookie sheet, salad bowl and tongs, etc) and the utensils could use an upgrade -- other than that, is was awesome!
