"Booked a room, no email 24hrs before with information. Turned up with the manager, who was luckily on site, not knowing a single thing about us arriving. Got put in a room not big enough for us. Owner claimed we hadnt booked the right room, which wasnt true. The manger was lovely and helpful but the owner wasnt. Room TV was smashed so couldnt be used. This is more like a hostel, bathrooms arent private but shared. Wouldn't recommend and definitely wont be returning. Not worth the money."

"The lobby and dinning areas are updated and welcoming. The halls between rooms are very tired and need a refresh. The room was clean but need updating as well."

"I love staying at Motel Ones! This was my second time at one and they are always so clean and nice. I love the bar; they have a great gin selection. The rooms are small but they use the space well and they’re very clean and modern. This was very conveniently located as well - close to the train station, Princes Street Gardens, and the castle/royal mile."

"Very happy with my stay. The location was brilliant for where I need to be during my business stay. Room was spacious and clean and dinner/breakfast was a very good quality and provided in a timely fashion. Views from the hotel definitely added to the stay and who doesn't want a welcome cookie! IF I had to be critical of anything, I didn't get on with the pillows provided but I appreciate we are all different!"

"breakfast was fine but nothing special ,the hotel staff were all very helpful ,the bar is quiet but service for the bar is available but you have to find someone . the hotel looks amazing the hotel rooms are large but on cupboard space for clothes and the rooms could use a major dusting , but great views , not perfect , but I would stay there again"

"The staff was nice. The rooms were cleaned daily but make sure to put the door sign on the door so they know to clean it. The attached restaurant was pretty good and staff was nice and helpful as well. The mattress on the bed was very hard and barely had any give to it. Bathrooms were a decent size. Our room was facing towards the back which ended up being very loud at night. You could hear people walking around and even hear their conversations. Friday night was probably the worst with outside...

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight out the next morning so didn’t get to enjoy breakfast. They did off to bring us a little breakfast tray early, but sadly they must have forgot as we never got it. But the room was beautiful, had a cute nespresso machine in it and the bed was comfy. Overall a lovely stay! "
