"The front desk clerk was great, very accommodating and helpful. He answered all my questions. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a bonus and good value. The location was very convenient to out event. Free parking is also a bonus."

"Good location, with prompt messaging from the owner. A couple of silverfish in the washroom, however clean property otherwise. Personally had a bad experience with the other guests staying, they took 1-3 hours showering in the washroom, leaving a horrible mess. Did not respect the quiet hours, the walls are very thin. If you are looking to stay here, be mindful that there is only 1 washroom shared with 2 other guest rooms."

"The hotel needed some work on the outside. The inside had been refurbished for the upcoming Fifa games. The room was cozy and bright with the most comfortable bed my husband & I have ever slept in. The room was very clean, but modest. We also had a view of the Vancouver skyline from our 3rd floor window. "This is an older motel, very clean and has good utilities. Close to good restaurants, buses, skytrain and TNT supermarket. Needs a mirror in the bedrooms and airconditioning as the units can get very hot. Pro tip: opem the lounge window, put the small fan on the window sill and run the fan, it will draw in cold air from outside and cool down the lounge room. The unit was large and spacious."

"This place is disgusting and run down. $200+ USD per night for what? A closet sized room that’s hot and stuffy, has no available plug ins so you have to decide whether to charge your phone, use the $5 Walmart fan they provide, watch tv, or use the fridge. You don’t dare try to do all at once. We had to fix the shower head as it’s crusted and falling off. The whole place wreaks of cigarettes. It’s on top of a Mexican night club so the whole building is loud and shaking all night. This is a dollar...

"The first night we got there we went to the hot tub and we kept seeing either a really big mouse or a rat running across the pool area and along the eating area where the restaurant was. It freaked my girlfriend out that we only used the pool and hot tub twice while we were there because she was too scared to go into it. We have left the hotel messages to call us regarding it and then they have not done anything. We had to pay like $1500 for two nights so we are very disappointed."

"Unique stay! - a building from 1800s that survived a huge fire! Definitely look into the history! - I found the location super convenient & I am a light sleeper and had no issues with noise. Skytrain station is right there and takes you from Surrey to downtown Vancouver easy. The waterfront is right there. Walking to restaurants, I would say this is a historic hidden gem! Definitely would stay again."
